Baptism of Fire

We welcome Irmantas Domarkas to the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria.

Irmis has joined Sally in the office and is here to assist with all your sailing, racing,membership, training and other enquiries.

He had his "Baptism of Fire" last week with the pre-event organisation for the Latitude challenge and many of you will have already spoken with him.

Irmis is a keen sailor having sailed aboard Cartouche since arriving in Australia. In 2013, Irmis was invited as a guest delivery crew aboard Volvo 60 Ambersail, a first ever Lithuanian entry in the Sydney Hobart race . Prior to his arrival in Australia, he sailed in Lithuania and across the Baltic Sea- further than some of us!
