About our partners

 BYS    

The Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron is a vital partner of the ORCV, providing hospitality events and berthing before many ocean races leaving the bay, such as the Melbourne to Hobart as well as destination bay races, such as the Latitude and the Cock of the Bay races.

 

 DSS  

The Derwent Sailing Squadron (DSS) is a vital partner of the ORCV, partnering in the Melbourne to Hobart yacht race to help plan, prepare, and host the finishers, including finish events.  They also run the King of the Derwent Yacht race, part of the Sovereign Series.

 

Mersey  

The Mersey Yacht Club (MYC) is a vital partner of the ORCV, providing hospitality events and berthing for the Melbourne to Devonport Yacht race.

 

KIBC  
The King Island Boat Club (KIBC) provides welcome hospitality, hosting us in King Island for the finish of the Melbourne to Grassy race.  They assist with finishing, logistics, beautiful steak sandwiches, a band, fire, and bar facilities no matter when the fleet arrives.
 
 RBYC  

The Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC) supports the ORCV by using their start/finish line for many bay races and berthing for members coming from afar to race.

 

 HBYC  

The Hobsons Bay Yacht Club (HBYC) assists the ORCV from time to time, such as hosting the end of the Overnight Challenge as part of our Beyond the Bay program.

 

RGYC  

The Royal Geelong Yacht Club (RGYC) is a partner of the ORCV, providing hospitality and berthing for the Melbourne to Geelong yacht race as part of the winter series.

The Osaka Hokko Yacht Club (OHYC) is the ORCV's partner in the Melbourne to Osaka Double Handed Yacht race, hosting the competitors in Osaka and organising finish social events.

 

 SYC  

The Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) is the ORCV's partner in the Melbourne to Osaka Double Handed Yacht race, hosting the competitors in Melbourne and organising pre-start social events.  SYC also allows us to use the finish tower from time to time.

The Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS) allows us to use their finish tower for the Winter Series.

 

Port Fairy Yacht Club  

The Port Fairy Yacht Club (PFYC) assists with the finish of the Melbourne to Port Fairy yacht race.

 

AS  

The ORCV has partnered with Australian Sailing as co-tenants in the shared premise at the State Sailing Centre at Albert Park.

The Queenscliff Coast Guard helped us with our night starts off Queenscliff.

The ORCV hopes to raise awareness of the great work the Clean Oceans Foundation is doing to reduce ocean pollution.

 

Apollo Bay Sailing Club   Apollo Bay Sailing Club provides hospitality support for the ORCV Apollo Bay Race
