ORCV Melbourne Winter Series (MWS)
The lure...
This is not going to be a story about fishing, but gee, about now I could really handle hauling up crab pots to find huge, 1.5kg mud crabs inside...
No. For us, this lure is all about that addictive thing called yachting... Our current Love Boat, Audacious, have been having a spell away from things, but alas, the lure of the sea has just been too much for them. Greg Clinnick tells us, "Just to let you know that we have put in a casual entry for Race Six of the ORCV Winter Series on Sunday August 28, to bolster the Colt action. We are all getting a bit twitchy from a lack of adrenalin."
Here is the Love Boat crew after the 2010 Westcoaster and below, this is them going past the South West Cape on the way to Hobart...
At one stage, Audacious held the Happiest Crew On The Water mantle and it's not hard to see why.
They love their yachting... This shot is after the 2009 Westcoaster. As 2011 will be the 40th Westcoaster, one wonders if they'll forget
their Northern idea and head South at Xmas time again?????????????????????? Think of the party...
With Challenge, Chutzpah and Mille Sabords already out and about, it will be good to see Audacious out there, too. Perhaps Cinquante will come up up from Geelong again, eh Bully??? Of all the collective nouns for horses, the one I like the best is drove. So Colt owners, out you come to make a reall drove of it!
Me thinkey they'll make an effort to be there for Geelong on September 10, as well...
