ORCV Melbourne to Geelong (M2G)
Nearly.
Well. Here's the thing. You see, the pages still keep getting hit, so whilst we're definitely nearly done with M2G pics, we're not over - just yet. Sure it is close, very close, but with such a good fleet out for the race and so many good image options, well, we just had to ensure we got around to it all.
Many thanks to Steb Fisher for the use of his images and with that - let's go!
Slice of Heaven, and Hush, with I dare say, Remedy, in the background. Now just on Slice of Heaven for a second, Anthony Weeks' Sayer 129 is one of the currently 22 starters for the M2S at the end of the month. Go HERE to join the gang sticking their nose out into it for the first time this season.
I would imagine she is a great passage making vessel.
Brochure shot, by the looks of it.
This is the cruiser known as Graf Spee and we saw a bit about her HERE and HERE.
What a 'Steb'!!!!
Pretty good too.
Hi.
Not a bad 'Steb'....
Sama, sama.
Tremendous 'Steb'.
Yoko in the background.
Who are these souls please, Patricia?
Yes. We've seen this one before, but what a gem of an image.
Thunder from Brighton.
Great stuff indeed.
Clipping along nicely.
Nolex 30 time.
Yoko - designed by Miller and Whitworth - loves a bit of cracked sheet action.
Hero shot.
A lot of them sail together for years, but they also manage to take newbies out, too...
That man Trevor Huggard on the wheel. Stay aware of the boat and him - more on it all, soon enough...
Alien - so the Div2 racers caught up to the cruising boats.
You Yangs and Alien. Good stuff.
Now this is the Jenneau, Western Sun.
She belongs to John Raff - is that you on the helm, pal?
Howdy.
Bit of splash adds to it all...
Brilliant image.
Cracking image!
Please let us know who they all are, John.
Another Ichi Ban.
Mrs O.
Is that how much of the waterline the diver actually did? Almost overstating it, really....
Burggraaf and Hibbert on Rememedy.
Now Brian Burggraaf (Pic of him in the AGM stuff, HERE) has put in an EOI (#5 thereof) for the 2013 M2O, but Remedy will not make it, so it is 'TBA', for now...
Hush, it's a Slice of Heaven.
Marissa McManus is OTT happy.
Bet pete Chalkley was too.
See you again soon team - for the M2S, in fact!
It's like a nearly empty container of your favourite ice cream...

The Colts (Sydney 38s) are having their own fight within the battle - many thanks to Ullman Sails for providing the prize. |
|
Many thanks to John Kint, Brian Case, Dianne Rose and the many, many helpers at RGYC for making it such a great place for us to get to. |
Thank you to Monica Tonner and Richard Hunter from SYC for ensuring Steb had a ride and we, therefore, have all that imagery, which just seems to go down an absolute treat. |

It is with thanks to our friends at PredictWind that we've been able to supply such detailled information throughout the entire 2010 MWS. |
