King Island, Apollo Bay and Double Handed are Taking Entries
Come try a different style of sailing with the ORCV. Join the growing fleets trying their hand and experiencing:
- Short Catergory 3 races which stay close to the shore
- Longer bay races to hone your skills
- Slightly longer ocean passages with a destination.
It's a great time to venture outside the heads and to try your hand at ocean sailing, in company.
Saturday, February 15th -16 entrants, many are first time entrants have now entered the West Offshore Products Coastal Sprints on February 15th. It's a daylight start at 7am and 50nm round trip which will have you home that night. Gather your crew or crew encourage your skippers to get onboard. Entries close in 6 days on February 8th. The overall winner on AMS receives the professional subscription to PredictWind valued at US$499. Enter the race here
Saturday, March 6th - King Island - The popular 114nm dash through tides and currents to the land of meat, cheese and rugged beauty awaits you. Entries are open here

Sunday April 26th - Double Handed - A longer style bay race that will provide you and your partner some great fun. Try double handed here and then consider joining the ORCV on a longer ocean passage double handed. Entries are open here
Saturday May 16th - The Great Ocean Road "Sail", sail in company on this Category 3 taking in the beautiful vista of the Great Ocean Road as you sail your way to Apollo Bay - Entries the race here
