This page is devoted to providing links to external training providers. These providers do not come with any recommendation or endorsement from the ORCV, so you will need to make your own assessment before committing to any training course provider.

First Aid
There are many providers available and as long as they are accredited to provide first aid training at "Level 2" or "Senior First Aid" or, using the government jargon, "HLTAID003 Provide first aid" then they will satisfy the YA requriements. Ask if the training includes "Automatic External Defibrillators" as a part of the course, as these are becoming common place in most yacht clubs and on ocean racing yachts.

Our own local keelboat clubs often provide useful (and free) seminars on various topics as well as bringing in instructors for Marine Radio, Diesel etc so keep an eye on your own club newsletters and email updates.
