Lisa Blair Speaks on Thurs 14 July

Lisa Blair will be speaking about her record-breaking solo circumnavigation of Antarctica at Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS) on Thursday 14th July.

Lisa sailed double-handed in the 2019 Melbourne to Hobart and those who meet her know that she's an engaging storyteller.

Lisa is at the Squadron in person to talk about her story aboard her boat "Climate Action Now" and her 92-day solo journey in the world’s most dangerous ocean. On her first attempt in 2017, her mast broke and she had to make a harrowing stop in Cape Town to have it repaired before she bravely continued on. Just over 30 days ago, Lisa completed her original goal and is the world record holder at 92 days, 18 hours, 21 minutes and 20 seconds single-handedly and nonstop circumnavigating Antarctica.

Together with RMYS, the ORCV invites all to come to listen. Lisa, is inspirational, energetic and a story not to miss for those who love sailing. Bookings are essential here https://www.trybooking.com/927811

All funds raised will go pass to Lisa.
