The morning view of the Surf Coast  from The Secretary

Sally Williams is sailing on The Secretary with skipper George Shaw and his all girl crew. This morning she reports that George is “away with the fairies” enjoying a rollicking sail as he helms The Secretary down the coast towards the cape.

As morning breaks another fairy onboard is on the spinnaker while the two overnight fairies have gone off watch. Another multi-skilled fairy has just metamorphosed from tactician to gourmet cook and is in the galley whipping up bacon and egg muffins for breakfast.

They all seem pretty happy with the lovely conditions this morning and their progress to date. Sally reports there is some trepidation onboard about the changing weather conditions once around Cape Otway so they are keeping an eye on the weather – because fairies don’t like to get wet!
