ORCV Hutchwilco Melbourne to Stanley (M2S).
Weather Reporter.
Andy Roberts is not sailing too much these days (young family), but he is getting a surf in!
We mentioned Andy in Classic Bass Straight and his popped down to 13th Beach for us to be the on the spot weather man. Nice work, lad...
"It has gone from a very nice Northerly breeze to a rain band that has just gone through with a strong West Sou'wester now blowing in behind it bringing some horizontal rain with it. Have Fun!"
Back up in Melbourne, this is what it looked like...
1900hrs update from adjacent Portsea Pier aboard Voctorian Reliance - wet! Andy Roberts tells us that at 13th Beach it has eased off a bit and gone back to the Nor'west. Neville Rose on the Geelong Road reports that the radar says the next soaking is about an hour away..........
Want to follow it all with the pretty graphics as per above? - see HERE for Flash empowered devices and HERE for non-Flash.
Right then, we had 37 vessels in the M2S, but Chikara Outlaw withdrew a few days ago, so it's 36 now - Addiction, Alibi, Alien, Arch Rival, Bandit, Biddy Hu II, Cadibarra 8, Calm, Cavarlo, Dekadence, Dark and Stormy, Dry White, eXtasea, FullyNPushing, Gusto, Halcyon, Independent Endeavour, Jazz Player, Kiss Goodbye to MS, Magazan 53, Magic, Matrix, Mille Sabords, Mirrabooka, Nutcracker, Pretty Woman, Scarlet Runner, Slinky Malinky, Spirit of Downunder, Tevake II, Trybooking.com, Under Capricorn, Weekend Option, White Noise, XLR8 and Yoko, which is excellent. Well done and good luck to all.
