Melbourne Winter Series (MWS)

Look Alive for Race Five.

MWS Race Five, that was postponed from August 16, has now been abondoned; - at least in it's passage race format. Instead, it will be now to be run on Sunday August 30 2009, in conjunction with MWS Race Six.

The Sailing Committee will be running two races back to back on the 30th. If conditions suit, they will run one old Olympic (triangle) course and one windward/leeward course. Should this go to plan, the MWS will then be completed and the Reserve Day will not be required. Bingo.

Accordingly, lunch will be required and you all need to face due North and pray to Huey that you get a pleasant 10 to 15knots or something.
