ORCV Melbourne to Geelong (M2G)

Ah yes. The penultimate round. Often referred to as the championship round in a lot of sports. The third quarter in Australian Rules Football is often referred to as the game maker, too.

Right then. So many images, so much fun during and after racing - well, it just has to be the M2G!!!

With the sun settling down low, as the remnants of Winter are shed and some gaps appeared in the fleet, Steb was able to turn a hand to the artsy fartsy numbers that I really like and wax on lyrical about, whenever I get the chance. A little like Darryl Eastlake, when you think about it...

So then, Warner Wolf we are and many thanks to Steb Fisher for the use of his images.

Let's open proceedings with said artsy fartsy numbers... Clockwork and Wicked are the two closest boats.

Another Ichi Ban - a position Challenge are well used to being in and deservedly so. One week later, they would take out the Colts little bash at Geelong on the very same waters... They also took out the Colts prize from Ullman Sails in the 2010 MWS.

More Ichi Ban - not surprising, really when you look at their crew work. Mark Bulka driving by the looks of it.
