Examining Brass for R5 (Passage Race).
"Still a go", is how the The Brass put it.
Certainly there will be a review later in the day and then the usual postings here and SMSs to Skippers, if there are any aspects that need to be clarified.
BoM Forecast for Sunday for Port Phillip, as at 0518hrs on 14/08/10
Winds: North to northwesterly 25 to 35 knots tending west to southwesterly at 25 to 35 knots during the late morning before easing to 20 to 30 knots during the afternoon. Wind tending westerly during the evening at 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Up to 2.5 metres decreasing to 1 to 2 metres during the afternoon and to around 1 metre at night.
BoM Forecast for Sunday for Melbourne, as at 0556hrs on 14/08/10
Cloudy. Scattered showers. Winds northwesterly averaging up to 45 km/h tending west to southwesterly up to 35 km/h.
Expect a bit of this, seems to be the general idea.... Add some rain while you're at it.
