ORCV Melbourne Winter Series (MWS)

Great Stuff.

There are fifteen entries already for the 2010 Melbourne Winter Series, which is just great. Actually, it's fantastic, this far out. So a big thank you to everyone of those boats, skippers and crew.

Note however, that July 4 and the only authorised practice flare shoot in the area, are but a moment away (22 days from Sat 12/06/10).

Now if you want to be a part of it all, or just individual races of the series, then you can get the MWS NOR right HERE. Similarly, if you want to investigate the much loved M2G race that completes the MWS, then please go HERE.

Now given that Bombora was our first entrant (spiel about that is HERE) and a bombora is a kind of wave, I could not help thinking that it is kind of poetic that we have a had a wave of entries, still with a few weeks to go. So, let's make it a flood! We have everything from 30 to 50 footers and a lot in between. If you want to see what you're like against the Bay's battle hardened opposition... Come on down! Greg Tobin from Bombora along with the other 14 skippers and crews are there and waiting. The fleet also includes the Doyen and Challenge, as well as our fabulous Love Boat, Nutcracker. You can see exactly who everyone is, HERE.
