ORCV Melbourne Winter Series (MWS)

Hemingway - Vol.III.

Nathan Edwards (Nate) sent me a note after reading The Love In. Shortly thereafter, these two © Steb Fisher images arrived of Robin Hewitt rewarding Gienah for their Div2 win on Sunday, with the gun.

I looked closely and saw that Nate was very seriously eyeing off the gun. Perhaps he knew he would be written about and wanted to get the first salvo in? At any rate, the timing of the two occurrences was perfect. Nate is up there with Andy McKinna and Matt Burton as the funniest guys I have gone yachting with. (We're not sexist here, Dee Colledge and Lisa Batson get the funniest girl prizes...)

Gienah goes across for the gun, as fired by Robin. Not sure who is in the yellow, but Tanya Stanford may well know????

Now in the blue jacket, just below the vang, is Nathan Edwards and just in front of him, is that gun... "Don't shoot the messenger, Nate!"

BTW, you can also read Hemingway, Vol I and for that matter, Vol. II

Big Arnie (Stick Around.)

The full MWS results to date are HERE. The next race of the MWS is Race Six, on August 29.

So. If you would like to go for a run with the Colts or any of the other sections represented by the Bay's best, you can. Individual entry for MWS races is HERE and the M2G is HERE - remember that Cruising Divisions are offered for the latter event.
