ORCV Melbourne Winter Series (MWS)
There's Always Someone...
... who is going to be first and so we salute Greg Tobin of Bombora from RYCV for being the first entrant in the 2010 Melbourne Winter Series. Thank you, very much.

The Melbourne Winter Series for 2010 is surely going to be even better than ever. You can enter the entire series, which includes the seventh race, the now infamous Melbourne to Geelong all in one hit, or you can enter specific days which suit your calendar. It's on every fortnight from July 4, with the M2G held on September 11.
This year, the ORCV will also be having a Cruising Category for the M2G, which will have a special course and two divisions - kites and no kites. If you're thinking of being part of this category, then you may also want to think about the passage race, which is Race Four of the MWS on August 15.
Of course, who could forget the annual flare shoot before the start of proceedings on July 4. It is the only approved and authorised occasion for the whole year, when you can legally practice firing your rocket flares. All in all, you had better get organised and be a part of this grand event, which has been a significant part of Melbourne's sailing calendar since 1971!!!
Also signing up on the very same day was Schuss. So thank you to Denis McConnell and crew from RBYC, as well.

So, if Michael Pisani is still sailing on Bombora, then below is a collection of images for you and your family. Cheers.
