DYSC Marine Supplies Winter Series - Race 2 Updates
Race Results
Race 2 of the DYSC Marine Supplies Winter Series again presented crews with a test of patience and strategy. Conditions were so light that crews chose fitness, dancing, and photography to keep spirits high, and eventually there was a change to the course with DIV 1 competitors finishing at Mornington, and finishing times for DIV 2 taken from the gate. Congratulations to all finishers, race winners, and dancing queens!

12:30 update - Saturday 6 July
It’s neck and neck between Rob Date’s ‘Scarlet Runner’ (SM13) and Damien King’s ‘MRV’ (SYD5) as they are the first through the gate!
Breezes are still light and variable, with crews hunting for more pressure and signs of more wind on the water.

10:00 update - Saturday 6 July
We’re underway for Race 2 of the DYSC Marine Supplies Winter Series! A record fleet set off for Blairgowrie under light winds of 5-6 knots from the east, with a split line start. The Winter Series is proving to be one for the thinkers, but winds are better than forecast and expected to improve slightly over the course of the day.
Thank you to Royal Brighton Yacht Club, Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron, and all the volunteers who made today’s race possible.
