ORCV Melbourne to Geelong (M2G)
Beware!
The closing date for your FREE entry into the Geelong event comes up on August 31 at noon (only for those that have been in the entire Winter Series). It's the same day as Tanya Stanford's birthday, so if you're phoning the office for one reason or another, you now have some good intel to use... Remember, it is FREE, if you've done the Winter Series, but you do have to complete some more information for the office, so go HERE to sort that out.
Now then, all three Divisions will remain open for entry into the Bay's favourite new bash, so you can get aboard the bus at any time, but if you can get the crew orgainised earlier, then it will be less of a dent in the wallet and more into the beer fund - that's gotta be a good thing! As we are aiming to get more than last year's 77 vessels, that means more people you know and more drinks to be had, so by association, more cash to buy more drinks!!! QED.
As for the pic, well, it comes from the very first run to Geelong, in 2009 and it was a boat that went on to become our very first Seamanship Poster Crew. You can see the original piece HERE and another from the code flag series, HERE.
Not yet in the Winter Series and want to have a piece of the Hottest 40 something on the Bay? Casual spots available...
Race Six, the penultimate round is on Sunday, August 28. Go HERE, NOW!!!
Want to part of that fun thing called the Geelong event on September 10? Go HERE. That's press the here to get in the Geelong, Geelong, Geeelong, Geelong, Geelong, Geelong, Geelong event. Did we mention Geelong? Press HERE to go to GEELONG on September 10.
As each race finishes, the MWS results will be HERE.
Follow it all here and via the ORCV Facebook page, so make sure you go and "Like" the page, now. 151 Souls already have and thank you to all of them.
More? Ok, OK - we will...
